Description

A delicious recipe for Sweet and Spicy Cauliflower that combines crispy cauliflower florets with a flavorful honey chili garlic sauce. Perfect as a side dish or appetizer!


Ingredients

Cauliflower:

  • 1 head of cauliflower cut into florets

Breading:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Sweet and Spicy Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and place a wire rack on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray.
  2. Bread the cauliflower: Dip cauliflower florets in beaten eggs, then coat in bread crumbs mixture. Place on the wire rack and spray with olive oil.
  3. Roast the cauliflower: Roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Make the sauce: Heat honey, chili garlic sauce, sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a saucepan. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Coat the cauliflower: Drizzle roasted cauliflower with the sauce. Garnish with green onions and serve!
