Description

Strawberry Santas are a delightful and festive holiday treat combining fresh strawberries with a creamy sweet cream cheese filling, decorated to resemble charming Santa faces. This no-bake recipe is perfect for Christmas parties and is easy to assemble, making it a fun and visually appealing snack for all ages.

Ingredients

Scale

Cream Cheese Mixture

  • 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 1¼ cups powdered sugar

Strawberries and Decorations

  • 20 large strawberries
  • 1.3 ounce tube black decorating icing
  • 20 round red sprinkles or 1 (.67 ounce) tube orange/red decorating icing

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cream Cheese Filling: Use a mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing on low speed until fully combined and smooth.
  2. Prepare Strawberries: Remove the stems from the strawberries to create a flat surface on the bottom, resulting in a cone-shaped berry. Cut each strawberry about three-quarters of the way up from the bottom to create a smaller cone that will serve as the Santa hat. Set these hat sections aside.
  3. Fill Piping Bag: Place the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag fitted with a round tip, such as a Wilton 2A or any medium to large piping tip suitable for detailed decoration.
  4. Create the Santa Face Base: On each larger bottom portion of the strawberry, pipe the cream cheese mixture in an upward swirl with two layers to form Santa’s beard and face.
  5. Add Facial Features: Using the black decorating icing, pipe two small dots on the cream cheese swirl to represent Santa’s eyes. Place a single red round sprinkle or use the orange/red decorating icing to create the nose in the center.
  6. Assemble the Santa Hat: Place the smaller strawberry cone (hat) on top of the cream cheese swirl. Pipe a small dot of cream cheese frosting onto the tip of the hat to make the pom pom, swirling in the direction of the strawberry hat for a cute effect.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is completely softened to achieve a lump-free cream cheese mixture.
  • If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a Ziploc bag and snip off a corner to pipe the cream cheese mixture.
  • Store finished Strawberry Santas refrigerated and consume within 1-2 days for freshness.
