Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 8×5 loaf pan with nonstick spray and line with parchment paper if desired.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until combined.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In another medium bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, and oil until combined.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well until a thick, dry mixture forms.
- Add Banana Mixture: Mix in buttermilk, vanilla, and mashed bananas until well combined.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle chopped walnuts on top, and bake in the center of the oven for 60-75 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
