Description

These S’mores Rice Krispies Treats Pinwheels are a delightful twist on the classic treat, combining the flavors of marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate in a fun, rolled-up form.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Rice Krispies Treats:

  • 10 oz miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup Challenge butter, plus more for greasing
  • 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs

For the Filling:

  • 7 oz jar marshmallow creme
  • 6 Hershey’s chocolate bars (1.55 oz each)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Prepare the Pan: Line a 10×15 jellyroll pan with waxed paper, and butter the paper. Set aside.
  3. Melt Marshmallows and Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the marshmallows and 1/4 cup of butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until completely blended.
  4. Mix the Treats: Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and graham cracker crumbs until well combined.
  5. Press into Pan: Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
  6. Add Filling: Spread the marshmallow creme over the mixture using an offset spatula. Place the Hershey’s chocolate bars on top.
  7. Soften the Chocolate: Bake in the oven for 2 minutes to soften the chocolate. Use a spatula to spread the chocolate evenly.
  8. Cool and Roll: Let the mixture cool for 10 minutes. Roll up the treat jellyroll-style, starting from the long side. Peel away the waxed paper as you roll and pinch the seams together.
  9. Chill: Place the roll seam side down in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
  10. Slice and Serve: Slice the roll into pinwheels and serve!
