Description

This Quick & Easy Pizza Dip is a perfect appetizer for parties, game days, or any occasion where you need a crowd-pleasing snack. With a creamy base, tangy pizza sauce, and plenty of cheese and pepperoni, it’s a delicious and simple dip that everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces brick cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: fresh parsley and/or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Make Base: In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream (or yogurt), garlic powder, basil, and oregano with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, cake pan, or similar-sized baking dish.
  3. Layer Toppings: Spread the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then top with pepperoni slices and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and/or basil, if desired. Serve hot with your favorite dippers, such as crostini, breadsticks, chips, raw vegetables, or pita wedges.
