- 8 ounces brick cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: fresh parsley and/or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Make Base: In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream (or yogurt), garlic powder, basil, and oregano with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, cake pan, or similar-sized baking dish.
- Layer Toppings: Spread the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then top with pepperoni slices and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and/or basil, if desired. Serve hot with your favorite dippers, such as crostini, breadsticks, chips, raw vegetables, or pita wedges.
