Description

These Mississippi Sin Sliders are a decadent and cheesy appetizer that’s perfect for parties and gatherings. With a creamy filling, savory ham, and soft slider rolls, they’re a crowd-pleasing treat that’s easy to make.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Dash of hot sauce
  • 1 pound thick-sliced ham, chopped
  • 1 dozen pull-apart slider rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Make Filling: In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in green onions, cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and hot sauce.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Slice slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the rolls, then top with chopped ham. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the ham. Place the top halves of the rolls on top.
  4. Bake: Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Ham: You can use any type of ham you like, but a thick-sliced ham works best.
  • Cheese: Feel free to substitute with your favorite type of cheese.
  • Spice: Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preferred level of spiciness.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble the sliders ahead of time and bake later. Refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with a side salad or your favorite dipping sauce.
