Description

This Layered Greek Dip is a Mediterranean-inspired appetizer that’s perfect for parties or gatherings. Creamy layers of cream cheese and hummus are topped with fresh veggies, olives, and feta cheese for a flavorful and colorful dip that pairs perfectly with pita chips.

Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Additional Layers:

  • 1 cup prepared hummus
  • 3/4 cup chopped cucumber
  • 3/4 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup chopped pitted Kalamata olives
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Serving:

Instructions

  1. Cream Cheese Layer: In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Assembly: Spread the cream cheese mixture into a serving dish. Layer the hummus on top of the cream cheese. Top with chopped cucumber, tomato, olives, feta cheese, and green onions.
  3. Chill: Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 12 hours to allow flavors to meld.
