- 4 cups Corn Chex

Butter Mixture

- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Add-ins
- 2 cups candy corn and/or candy pumpkins
- 2 cups chocolate-covered pretzels
- 2 cups salted sweet potato chips, such as Terra
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces
Instructions
- Preheat and Combine: Preheat the oven to 250°F. In a large bowl, combine the Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, and cinnamon Teddy Grahams. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, kosher salt, and pure vanilla extract to create the butter mixture.
- Coat the Cereal Mix: Drizzle about one-third of the butter mixture over the cereal and Graham mix. Toss well to evenly coat all pieces. Repeat this process with the remaining butter mixture in two additional pours, ensuring every piece is covered thoroughly.
- Prepare for Baking: Divide the coated cereal mix evenly between two unlined rimmed baking sheets. Spread the mixture into an even layer on each sheet to promote even toasting.
- Bake and Toss: Bake the Chex Mix in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes until toasted and crisp. Every 15 minutes, remove the trays and toss the mix well to prevent burning and ensure even baking.
- Cool and Add Final Ingredients: Allow the baked Chex Mix to cool completely. Once cooled, gently mix in the candy corn or pumpkins, chocolate-covered pretzels, salted sweet potato chips, and Reese’s Pieces for a combination of sweet and salty flavors.
