Description

These Gingerbread Oreo Truffles are a festive and delicious no-bake treat that’s perfect for the holidays. Golden Oreo cookies are combined with cream cheese and spices to create a flavorful base, then dipped in white chocolate and decorated with gingerbread sprinkles.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (18.12-ounce) package Golden Oreo sandwich cookies
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 3 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 16 ounces white chocolate chips
  • Gingerbread man sprinkles

Instructions

  • Prep and Crush Cookies: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the Golden Oreos in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
  • Combine Ingredients: Add softened cream cheese, molasses, ginger, and cinnamon to the food processor. Pulse until well combined.
  • Shape and Freeze: Use a small cookie scoop to portion out the dough and roll into balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet and freeze for 2 hours, or until solid.
  • Melt Chocolate: Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until smooth.
  • Dip Truffles: Dip frozen truffle balls in the melted white chocolate using a fork. Tap off excess chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  • Decorate: Reheat remaining white chocolate and transfer to a piping bag. Drizzle over the truffles. Immediately place a gingerbread man sprinkle on each drizzle before the chocolate sets.

Notes

  • Freezing: Working with frozen truffles prevents them from falling apart during dipping.
  • Melting Chocolate: Microwave in short bursts and stir to avoid burning.
  • Drizzling: If the chocolate in the piping bag hardens, reheat it by placing the bag in a cup of hot water.
