Scale
- 1 (18.12-ounce) package Golden Oreo sandwich cookies
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 3 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 16 ounces white chocolate chips
- Gingerbread man sprinkles
Instructions
- Prep and Crush Cookies: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the Golden Oreos in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
- Combine Ingredients: Add softened cream cheese, molasses, ginger, and cinnamon to the food processor. Pulse until well combined.
- Shape and Freeze: Use a small cookie scoop to portion out the dough and roll into balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet and freeze for 2 hours, or until solid.
- Melt Chocolate: Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until smooth.
- Dip Truffles: Dip frozen truffle balls in the melted white chocolate using a fork. Tap off excess chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
- Decorate: Reheat remaining white chocolate and transfer to a piping bag. Drizzle over the truffles. Immediately place a gingerbread man sprinkle on each drizzle before the chocolate sets.
Notes
- Freezing: Working with frozen truffles prevents them from falling apart during dipping.
- Melting Chocolate: Microwave in short bursts and stir to avoid burning.
- Drizzling: If the chocolate in the piping bag hardens, reheat it by placing the bag in a cup of hot water.
