Description

These Garlic Steak and Potato Foil Packs are a convenient and flavorful way to cook steak and potatoes. Perfect for grilling or baking, this dish is easy to make and even easier to clean up.


Ingredients

Steak:

  • 22 1/2 pounds top sirloin steak, trimmed of fat and cut into 2 1/2-inch pieces

Potatoes:

  • 1 pound baby yellow potatoes, quartered (or halved if already less than 1 inch in size)

    Seasonings:

    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste (about 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper)
    • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, toss steak, potatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and seasonings until well combined.
  2. Prepare Foil Packs: Divide the mixture between four 12×12 inch foil sheets, then wrap tightly to form packs.
  3. Cook: Grill over high heat for 10 minutes on each side or bake at 425°F for 20-25 minutes until done to preference.
  4. Serve: Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley before serving.
