Ingredients

Units Scale

Base Layer

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups Graham cracker crumbs

Toppings

  • 14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup Mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup Quick-cook oats
  • 1/2 cup Sweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Dish
Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal of the bars after baking.
  2. Melt the Butter
Place the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it in 30-second intervals until it’s completely melted.
  3. Make the Crust
Combine the melted butter with the graham cracker crumbs in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly using a fork until the mixture has a wet, sand-like texture. Firmly press this mixture into the bottom of your lined baking dish to form an even crust.
  4. Assemble the Layers
Evenly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the graham cracker crust. Sprinkle the quick-cook oats evenly over the condensed milk, followed by the mini chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, sweetened coconut flakes, and Easter M&Ms.
  5. Bake the Bars
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the magic bars for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and set.
  6. Cool and Serve
Remove the dish from the oven and let the bars cool completely before slicing and serving. Cooling thoroughly is essential to ensure the layers hold together properly.

Notes

  • For even layering, distribute the toppings evenly across the bars.
  • Substitute the peanut butter chips with white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips if desired.
  • Adding a pinch of sea salt on top after baking can enhance the flavors.
  • These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days, or they can be refrigerated for up to a week.
  • If using salted butter instead of unsalted, reduce the added salt in the crust.
