Description

These adorable Chocolate Easter Nests are a fun and festive treat that’s perfect for celebrating Easter. Crispy gluten-free fried noodles are coated in a delicious chocolate and peanut butter mixture, then formed into nests and filled with colorful Cadbury Mini Eggs. They’re easy to make and a delightful addition to your Easter festivities.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (125g) packet Cadbury Mini Eggs, gluten-free
  • 1 (100g) packet Chang’s Gluten-Free Fried Noodles
  • 200g chocolate melts (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or a mix)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or nut butter of choice

Instructions

  1. Melt Chocolate:
    1. Microwave Method: Place the chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each burst, until melted and smooth.
    2. Stovetop Method: Fill a small pot with water and bring to a simmer. Place the chocolate in a heat-safe bowl that fits snugly over the pot (without touching the water). Stir the chocolate until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the peanut butter to the melted chocolate and stir to combine. Add the gluten-free fried noodles and stir until evenly coated in the chocolate-peanut butter mixture.
  3. Create Nests: Line a large tray with baking paper. Use two spoons to create 10 nests on the tray, pressing down slightly in the center of each nest to form a well. Place three Cadbury Mini Eggs in the center of each nest.
  4. Set and Serve: Refrigerate the nests until the chocolate is firm. Transfer to an airtight container for storage until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use any type of chocolate melts you prefer.
  • Any nut butter can be substituted for peanut butter.
  • If you don’t have Chang’s Gluten-Free Fried Noodles, you can use another brand of gluten-free fried noodles or a different crispy base like chow mein noodles.
  • These nests can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
