Description

These 2-Ingredient Coconut Truffle Balls are an incredibly simple and delicious no-bake treat made from desiccated coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Perfectly sweet and chewy with a delightful coconut flavor, these truffles are rolled in extra coconut for a beautiful finish. They come together in minutes and only require chilling before serving, making them an ideal quick dessert or snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 14 oz (400 grams) desiccated coconut
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

For Coating

  • 1/3 cup extra desiccated coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: Place the 14 oz of desiccated coconut into a medium bowl. Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the coconut. Using a spatula, thoroughly mix until all the coconut is evenly coated and a sticky mixture forms.
  2. Form Balls: Scoop approximately one tablespoon of the coconut mixture and roll it between your palms to form a smooth ball. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used up.
  3. Coat Coconut Balls: Roll each coconut ball into the extra 1/3 cup of desiccated coconut to give the outside a nice coating and texture.
  4. Chill: Place the coated coconut truffle balls on a tray or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • Use sweetened condensed milk straight from the can for best results and sweetness.
  • If you prefer, substitute sweetened condensed milk with a vegan condensed milk alternative to make it dairy-free.
  • For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a pinch of salt to the mixture before rolling.
  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • These truffle balls can also be frozen for longer storage and thawed before serving.
