These Carne Asada Fries are a delicious twist on classic loaded fries, featuring marinated grilled steak, melted cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and jalapenos for a burst of flavor in every bite.

Marinade:
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed or diced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle chili pepper OR 1 teaspoon finely chopped, canned chipotle pepper (optional)
- 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
Meat:
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds skirt, flank, or flap steak

Carne Asada Fries:
- 1 28-ounce bag frozen fries
- 1 to 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup pico de gallo
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- Chopped cilantro, optional for topping
- 1 jalapeno, sliced, optional for topping
Instructions
- Carne Asada Marinade – Combine all marinade ingredients, pour over meat, marinate for 4-24 hours.
- Carne Asada – Broil meat 4-6 minutes per side, rest, then slice.
- Fries – Bake fries, assemble in skillet or on a baking sheet. Top with carne asada, cheese, bake until cheese melts. Add guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, cilantro, and jalapenos. Serve.
