  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Stir Fry

  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, trimmed of fat and sliced into 1 1/2-inch strips (about 1/4-inch thickness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and cornstarch until combined. Add beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  2. Cook the ramen noodles: Boil water and cook ramen until tender. Drain, rinse, and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Sear the steak: Cook seasoned steak in a hot skillet until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Cook the broccoli: Steam broccoli in the skillet with water until tender.
  5. Combine everything: Return steak to the skillet, add noodles, and pour in the sauce. Cook until coated and heated through.
  6. Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
