Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Salmon Bites:

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets, skin removed, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Make Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice. Set aside.
  2. Season Salmon: In a large bowl, toss salmon bites with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place salmon bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until cooked through and crispy.
  4. Serve: Transfer salmon bites to a serving platter. Drizzle with Bang Bang sauce and serve immediately with extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Salmon: Use fresh, skinless salmon fillets cut into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  • Spice Level: Adjust the amount of sriracha in the sauce to your preference.
  • Air Fryer: Cook salmon in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
  • Serving: Drizzle the sauce over the salmon just before serving to maintain crispiness.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing: Freeze cooked salmon bites in a single layer before transferring to a freezer-safe container for longer storage.
