Description
Quick and easy 5-minute air fryer donuts made from flaky biscuits and topped with a rich homemade chocolate ganache glaze. Perfect for a delightful treat that can be whipped up in no time with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
Donuts
- 1 can flaky large biscuits
Chocolate Ganache Glaze
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Prepare the biscuits: Remove the biscuits from the can and separate them. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet to prepare for cutting.
- Cut out donut holes: Use a 1-inch circle cookie cutter to cut out the centers of each biscuit, creating the donut shape.
- Air fry the donuts: Arrange 4 donuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for 5 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Make the chocolate ganache glaze: While the donuts are cooking, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and if the chocolate is not fully melted, microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Stir until smooth and set aside.
- Glaze the donuts: Once the donuts are cooked, immediately dip them in the warm chocolate ganache glaze. Place the glazed donuts back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Optionally, top with sprinkles or golden Wilton stars for decoration. Serve and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- These biscuit donuts are best enjoyed fresh and warm for optimal taste and texture.
- You can customize the toppings with your favorite sprinkles or edible decorations.
- Be careful not to overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
- Use parchment paper in the air fryer to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.
